CH. Karnchang Plc (CK) informed that it has joined with Bill Finger & Berger Bowaktian Kechelsaft Co.,Ltd., Ch. Karnchang-Tokyu Construction Co., Ltd., and Tokyu Construction co.,Ltd. has signed in construction contract in Bangpain-Parkred Expressway Project with North Bangkok Expressway Co., Ltd.(NBECL). The contract was made under the name of joint venture "JV BBCT". JV BBCT will be responsible for the completion of designing, construct, equipment installation and construction management, including maintenant of Bangpain-Parkred expressway. The details are as follows: Period Completion & Transfer date - Bangpain-Parkred Expressway Phase 1 ( 4 lanes from Jangwattana-Chiangrak) 1st October 31, 1998 - Bangpain-Parkred Expressway Phase 1 ( from Chiangrak-Bangsai) 2nd November 30, 1999 * The completion & Transfer date will be depend on the period in which The Expressway and Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand will be able to transfer the right in the constructing area to JV BBCT. If the transfer delays, the completion & transfer date will also delay. The construction value was not over Bt14,150 million.
