CH. Karnchang Plc (CK) clarified the more than 20% change in its Q3 /1996 operating result as compared to the same period of previous year. CK reported that at the 3-month operating result ending September 30, 1996 , the company's net profit decreased by 44.4% as compared to the same period of 1995. Although the company acknowledged the incomes gained from the completed construction of an express way Phase2, part B from Samsane Water Filter Plant to Bangklo(Project Phase2) since the Q2, the company's Q3/1996 still has high expenses derived from that Project Phase 2 aggravated with expenses from future Barkkred-Bangpain Express Way Construction Project which was expected to be started at the end of this year.
