Ref: CK-07-000-AFD-L-0161 25 May 2007 Subject: Declaration of Progress of Loans and Interest Repayment Attention: President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Ref: The Company's Letter No. CK-07-0000-AFD-L-0226 dated April 25, 2007 Reference is made to the fact that CH.Karnchang Public Company Limited has issued a declaration letter of the additional information of the consolidated financial statements on loans in item 11 of the Notes to Consolidated Financial Statements of the Company. As the Joint Venture CKAE Consortium shall receive for totaled loans repayment within 30 December 2007. However, the Joint Venture CKET Consortium shall receive at least a half of loans repayment within 31 December 2007 and the rest of debt will be then paid at a whole within 30 June 2008. Therefore, the Company hereby informs on the progress of repayment as follows. 1) In case of Joint Venture CKAE Consortium: As of 31 December 2006 Balance of accrued debt Totaled 601.7 million baht (in proportion to the Company's interest in the joint-venture) As of 30 April 2007 Receivable interest repayment Totaled 19.8 million baht (in proportion to the Company's interest in the joint-venture) 2) In case of Joint Venture CKET Consortium: As of 31 December 2006 Balance of accrued debt Totaled 1,264.2 million baht (in proportion to the Company's interest in the joint-venture) As of 30 April 2007 Not having received of loans repayment.
