Letter No. CK-08-0000-PO-L-0059, Re: Report on Connected Transactions in Respect of the Office Building Lease dated June 3, 2008 3. Letter No. CK-08-0000-PO-L-0061, Re: Report on Connected Transactions in Respect of the Office Building Lease dated June 5, 2008 According to the referenced letters, CH. Karnchang Public Company Limited (the "Company") already disclosed information on connected transactions in respect of the office building lease to the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The Company hereby clarifies on additional information on criteria for consideration of the rental rates and service charges as follows: 1. Criteria for pricing of the rental rates and service charges The pricing of the rental rates and service charges is in comparison with the rental rates of the adjacent areas. In addition, this is because the former price was determined by the former building owner or the former lessor (CK. Office Tower Co., Ltd.) since the year 2002, along with the increased administrative cost, it was then necessary to adjust the price under the suitability to ensure compliance with the market price, whereby the rental rates and service charges were adjusted since March 1, 2007 before the Company would purchase the building from CK. Office Tower Co., Ltd. as follows: The former rental rate and service charge of Baht 400/square meter for the 1st-2nd Floors were changed to Baht 450/square meter. The former rental rate and service charge of Baht 300/square meter for the 3rd-10th Floors were changed to Baht 350/square meter. The former rental rate and service charges of Baht 320/square meter for the 11th-18th floors were changed to Baht 370/square meter. The former rental rate and service charges of Baht 350/square meter for the 19th-24th floors were changed to Baht 400/square meter. Please be informed accordingly.
