REPORTS PROGRESS IN BIDDING FOR METROPOLITAN RAPID TRANSI
CH. Karnchang Plc. (CK) reported concerning the bid for the first
phase of the Metropolitan Rapid Transit Project that the company has
already received an invitation from the Metropolitan Rapid Transit
Authority to negotiate on the detailed offers of the bid.
The first negotiation will be held on August 15, 1996.
