STRONGLY DENIES NEWS IN THE NATION
Ch Karnchang Plc clarified for the news written in The Naion (Nov 4,
1997), Page B1 concerning "BOT probing debt burdens", in the 11th
paragraph; Ch Karnchang Plc, a construction firm, is considered likely to
default on short-term loans being called back.
CK denounced this news was absolutely groundless, saying it has never
defaulted on repayment for short-term loans. CK reaffirmed creditors and
financial institutions, both local and oversea, still provide credit lines
to it regularly.
