Subject:Signing Concession Contract

The Stock Exchange of Thailand
Since Bangkok Metro Co., Ltd. ("BMCL") which was a
subsidiaries company of CH. Karnchang Public Company Limited has
signed the concession contract for the Metropolitan Rapid Transit Chaloem
Ratchamongkhon Line with the Metropolitan Rapid Transit Authority. The
concession period is 25 years and investment value is approximately Baht
Twenty Five Billion. We are pleased to inform that BMCL has signed the
above contract on August 1, 2000 .
