Ref.: CK-00-0000-AFD-L-998 19 December 2000 Subject:Signing Construction Contract Attention: President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Since CKOBA Joint Venture which established by Obayashi Corporation, CH.Karnchang Public Company Limited, and Thai Obayashi Corporation Limited has signed the contract of the Wat Nakorn-In Bridge and Connecting Roads Construction Project, Contract NS-1 with the Public Works Department on 19 December 2000. The value of this contract is Baht1,449,989,751.77 (Baht One Billion Four Hundred Forty Nine Million Nine Hundred Eighty Nine Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty One and Seventy Seven Satang) with 730 days construction period. The participation stake of each partner in CKOBA Joint Venture are as follows: COMPANY PORTION 1) Obayashi Corporation 50% 2) CH.
