Karnchang Public Company Limited, have had a Resolution of the Executive Board No.10/2543 on the 25th December 2000, to increase the investment in the Bangkok Metro Co., Ltd. from 79.94% to 89.55% or equal to 17,909,994 shares which such company has an objective to construct, operate and manage the trains, electric trains, tramcars system and the system of any vehicles using other types of energy including any other business related to the types of energy, trains, tramcars system and the system of any vehicles using other types of energy. Presently, the Bangkok Metro Co., Ltd. has a registered shares capital of Baht Two Billion and consist of 20 million ordinary shares at par Baht 100 per share which 25% is paid-up.
