Karnchang Public Company Limited, Subsidiaries and Joint Ventures for the three-month period ended March 31, 2000 presented net profit of Baht 51.59 million which has improved more than 1,391.47 percent comparing to the previous period due to the following factors as follow; 1) The Company has received the dividend income from the Company's investment in the three-month period ended March 31, 2001. 2) The Company has transferred the provision for doubtful debts from the received payment of the Joint Venture in the three-month period ended March 31, 2001. 3) The Company has increased the Gain on Exchange from the Joint Ventures in the three-month period ended March 31, 2001.
