The Stock Exchange of Thailand
As SouthEast Asia Energy Limited ("SEAN"), a subsidiary of CH.
Karnchang Public Company Limited, entered into a Concession Agreement
with the government of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, granting
SEAN concession rights for total of 32 years to cover five years for
the construction, two years for the testing of the 615 MW hydroelectric
power plant, and 25 years for the cross-border electricity supply to
EGAT Public Company Limited ("EGAT") on March 14, 2006.
SEAN and EGAT are in the process of concluding the negotiation of
a power purchase agreement that is expected to be concluded shortly as
will the related financing agreements.
