Karnchang Public Company Limited holds 1,888,312,416 shares or representing 15.80 percent of the registered capital in Bangkok Metro Public Company Limited "BMCL" (Bangkok Metro Public Company Limited has the total registered capital of Baht 11,950,000,000, divided into 11,950,000,000 shares, at the par value of Baht 1 per share). At present, the Company hereby informs that the Company has purchased 637,180,300 ordinary shares in Bangkok Metro Public Company Limited through the Stock Exchange of Thailand, at the averaged price of approximately Baht 1.2906 per share, amounting to approximately Baht 822,405,249. As the Company wishes to maintain its portion in holding shares not exceeding the existing portion (28.23 % of the present registered capital) for having authority in management. In this regard, given that the volume of such transaction does not fall under the minimum requirements in accordance with the Notification of the Stock Exchange of Thailand, Re: Rules, Procedures and Disclosure on Acquisition or Disposition of Assets of Listed Companies, thereby the Company shall hold 2,525,492,716 shares or representing 21.13 percent of the registered capital in Bangkok Metro Public Company Limited.
