(Translation) No. CK-07-0000-PO-L-0155 July 2, 2007 Re: Exercise of Option to Subscribe for Purchase of Capital Increase Shares in SouthEast Asia Energy Limited Attn: President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand CH. Karnchang Public Company Limited hereby informs that the Company has exercised its option to subscribe for purchase of 137,056,500 capital increase shares in SouthEast Asia Energy Limited, according to its shareholding proportion, at the par value of Baht 10 per share, totaling Baht 1,370,565,000. In this regard, Southeast Asia Energy Limited has requested the Company to pay for the newly issued shares at 25 percent, amounting to Baht 342,641,250. -. Furthermore, SouthEast Asia Energy Limited resolved to increase its registered capital from Baht 4,000 Million to Baht 8,809 Million, by issuing 480,900,000 ordinary shares for capital increase, at the par value of Baht 10 per share, and allocating 480,900,000 capital increase shares to the existing shareholders of the company according to their shareholding proportions. In order to maintain the Company's shareholding proportion of 28.50 percent of the registered capital in SouthEast Asia Energy Limited, the Company thus purchased additional 137,056,500 shares. Such exercise of option therefore rendered the Company to hold 251,056,500 shares, representing 28.50 percent of the total of 880,900,000 shares in SouthEast Asia Energy Limited.
