Karnchang Public Company Limited or CK, representing a shareholding proportion of approximately 7.5 percent or more than Baht 130 Million...." CH. Karnchang Public Company Limited hereby clarifies that such foregoing news differs from the actual fact. On June 30, 2006, CK acquired 826,500 ordinary shares in Pathum Thani Water Co., Ltd. from Berli Jucker Public Company Limited at the value of Baht 60,747,750.-, including the assumption of obligations under the Sponsor Support Agreement. In this regard, the Company hereby confirms that the Company has never acquired any shares in Thai Tap Water Supply Public Company Limited from Berli Jucker Public Company Limited as per the content posted in the newspaper.
