= TRANSLATION = Ref: CK-08-0000-PO-L-0008 January 10, 2008 Subject Use of Additional Capital Attention President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Reference is made to the fact that CH. Karnchang Public Company Limited received the money from warrant exercise of the existing shareholders, directors and employees for the first time up to twelve time totaled of 262,012,169 shares at the price of Baht 4.50 per share, which receiving share value totaled of Baht 1,179,054,760.50. In this regard, the Company had already used the money to reserve for the current capital in the Company's business operation for Baht 1,178,958,888.73 whereas remaining of Baht 95,871.77 according to the Company's objective as informed in the Prospectus on sale offer of warrant to purchase the ordinary shares. Additionally, the Company had received for the money of its additional capital shares from selling additional capital of ordinary shares to the limited persons who are the institute investors for 134,000,000 shares at the price of Baht 10.76 per share and receiving totaled of Baht 1,441,840,000. As the Company had already used the money to expand its business and to be the current capital of the Company for Baht 938,006,029.22 whereas remaining of Baht 503,833,970.78 according to the Company's objective.
