21 September 2009 BOOK CLOSING AND SUSPENDED TRADING OF CK09OA and CK09OB CH. Karnchang Public Company Limited (CK) announced the redemption and payment date of the Debentures of CH. Karnchang Public Company Limited No. 1/2004 Series 2, Due 2009 (CK09OA) and No.1/2004 Series 3, Due 2009 (CK09OB) on 19 October 2009. Also CK announced its book closing date on 5 October 2009 for further redemption and payment process Therefore, to comply with the settlement and securities transfer system, CK has asked the SET to suspend trading of CK09OA and CK09OB effective between 1 October 2009 and 16 October 2009. (Detail as in CK news on SETSMART dated on 21 September 2009) By virtue of Clause 5(6) of the SET's Rules, Conditions and Procedures for the Temporary Prohibition of Trading of Listed Securities, issued on February 9,1995,the SET will suspend trading on CK09OA and CK09OB between 1 October 2009 and 16 October 2009 as the company requested. Since 19 October 2009 these debentures will no longer be the listed securities on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET).
