Karnchang Public Company Limited, held on December 21, 2004, resolved to grant approval for the Company to purchase ordinary shares in Bangkok Expressway Public Company Limited, namely, 9,551,150 shares from Tokyu Construction Co., Ltd., 5,100,000 shares from Bang Pa-in Land Development Co., Ltd. and 60,423,850 shares from other companies, totaling not exceeding 75,075,000 shares, in the total value of not exceeding Baht 1,752,250,500. The Company hereby informs you that the Company has already purchased ordinary shares in Bangkok Expressway Public Company Limited, namely, 5,000,000 shares from Tokyu Construction Co., Ltd., 5,100,000 shares from Bang Pa-in Land Development Co., Ltd. and 3,000,000 shares from Para Management Co., Ltd. As a result, the Company currently holds 113,267,750 shares representing 14.71 percent of the paid-up capital in Bangkok Expressway Public Company Limited. Please be informed accordingly.
